I decided to make something just for me. I had Covid recently and needed to get a lot of fluids. Since I live in Florida, it’s always nice to cool off with a popsicle, but those little tubes are really too cold to hold. Because I love penguins, this holder seemed the perfect thing. I can keep it out on my desk to keep me company when it isn’t holding a freeze pop.

When I was a child, we called them Kool Pops. Now they are interchangeably called Freeze Pops, Ice Pops, and even just Popsicles. Whatever you call them, we are talking about those disposable plastic tubes full of a frozen fruity flavor. Everyone loves a freeze pop in the summer and these holders will make them more fun and keep little (and big) hands from getting too cold.

Since these are so easy to make, I’m making some for my many great nieces and nephews that live in or will be visiting Florida this summer. And, of course, I will make extras to have them available in the shop.

The Polar Bear, Orca, and Penguin are available only as seen here. The Shark, Mermaid Tail and Sea Horse have a few options as shown. The rectangle holder can be made in many colors including pink, fuchsia, purple, royal blue, turquoise, lime green, yellow, orange, red, maroon, tan, gray, and white. A name or initial can be added to the rectangle holders.
