I have had several customers that, after seeing my Microwave Bowl Cozies, asked if I had a small version for holding a pint of ice cream.  So, since I have a bit of time off from markets this summer, I decided to spend some time working on just that.

After doing a little research, I had a starting idea of how big to make this new cozy.  My first try, though, was way too tall and narrow to comfortably hold the pint container.  So, back to the drawing board with another try using a different size for the pleats.  This one worked out much better, size wise, but needed a little tweaking on process.  My third version seems to be just the thing.

Not only is it perfectly sized for a pint of ice cream, but it is also the right size for single serving cups of microwave oatmeal, breakfast bowls, soup, and noodles.  Because this cozy is made with 100% cotton fabric, batting, and thread, just add the containers to your cozy and microwave as directed on the package. Remove your cozy wrapped food cups from the microwave, leave them in the cozy and enjoy without burning your  hands
